The best Açaí Bowl ever

The latest project in my photography class has been to make a class recipe book of all of our favorite foods. Of course I had to do my go-to breakfast/lunch/dessert/snake- açaí bowls! I hope you try out this recipe and enjoy :)

[1-2 servings]
Ingredients:
-2 bananas
-handful strawberries
-handful blueberries
-1/2 red dragon fruit or  pitaya powder (I use the one from Unicorn Superfoods)
-1 scoop vegan protein powder or  Flaxseed Meal
-1/2 tsp spirulina 
-1/2 cup almond milk (or other nut milk)
-5 drops liquid chlorophyll (optional)
-desired toppings

Make:
1. Place all smoothie bowl ingredients into a blender and blend on high.
2. Pour smoothie into a bowl.
3. Add on coconut shavings, granola, fruit, or any other desired toppings.
4. Dig in!

*The secret to a thick ice cream-like texture for smoothie bowls is to use as little liquid as possible. To do this, you will need a high powered blender such as a Vitamix.*
